obviously there was an underlying respect for each other even though it appears not to have been realised (or acknowledged) until Prost gave it away.

not a bone broken or a bruise after the accident made the outcome that much more sad and could have been an accident he walked away from. I hadn't make the link that Senna's death was the last one that F1 has had which is a remarkable tribute to the standards built into these cars.

Agree that Imola weekend had some very bad vibes and you could see Senna had lost his mojo at that meeting.  interestingly no matter how these guys fight on track they still belong to a special club: See Prost is a trustee for the Senna foundation

No guessing what you did on a wet Sunday. Incredible movie. I think apart from Prost, Senna was his own biggest competitor. there appeared  to be nothing either of those two wouldn't do to win the championship. But it was very interesting seeing the chain of events and reactons over that weekend at Imola before the accident that suggested all was not right. looking at the onboard shots one couldn't help but be amazed at the lack of  technical aids they had to contend with. seeing a steering wheel with a big "H" sign in the middle looked like it had been borrowed from an abandoned Civic that was lying about. A great tribute to one the sport's great achievers.

If you want another good watch, have a look at the TT 3D., Those guys have an absolute death wish on themselves

Whew: Brings tears to the eyes that Senna movie. Not sure how Dr Sid Watkins did that job for so long

Anybody read Senna's autobiography? Or Sid Watkins for that matter...
