Darryn mentions Hot rods as far out as he can get them. As the end of the hot rod is quite thin from machining. How far out can the hot rod support a hub?

Also how benificial do the longer hubs appear on the 50mm axle. What are the pro's and con's of longer hubs?

Chris, thanks for that mate. We have really struggled with big push in rain on wets, yet in wet on slicks we really fast compared to others on slicks, I normally hot rods on front, out as wide as I can get them and the rear probably narrower than where you have just suggested, so will definitely try. Problem in CH-Ch it actually doesn't rain that often, and it normally rains on days we can't practice so haven't been able to sort out. Maybe we should move to Auckland LOL.. Thanks

so having lived in auckland for 6 years after wellington for 25 i can tell you it rains most days in auckland trust me. on the AX9 we run 10mm to 15mm spacers on the rear axle in the wet when the wets are on big magnesium rear hubs, cant remeber total track but will have it in the data sheets

anyone got any suggestions where to run rear track in the rain on AX9
