Does anybody know what happened with these engines ?
I seem to remember ther being a few problems with these when they 1st came out
although I now see there is a new rotary engine that has ties with Mercedies
the power fiquires they are claiming are impressive 50HP 28nm & the engine only weighs
15kg .

I think Lascom sold some

Most of them went bang , as they had a few problems with internal lubrication when reved past their 10500 limit . there is one still going and oddly enough it was the first one brought in to the country by Jon Wright with the twin coils . It's mounted on a Arrow shifter chassis and has only done 3 or 4 meetings from memory , and its for sale too .
thanks for the replys do you know how to get a hold of the guy with the one for sale ?

Just in case yor wondering I now have different email for using My kart  (...  got band from MY KART at work )

Its interesting to read that the AX50 Is not sitable for use in NZ as it is over 300 cc just last weekend there was AX 50

Been run at the final round of the twighlights in Blenheim

In other forms of motor sport they use a calculation to find a class suitable for a rotary engine to run in

perhaps we could add more weight or something so that these engines could still be run

afterall I thought thats what the "OPEN"CLASS was all about?

Hi Pete , Give Graham a call on 0272482997 , They are soooo much fun to drive and they just seem to want to pull for ever and that unmistakable rotary sound , a drive I will never forget . Good Luck , Biggsy
