Event Description

Kartsport introduces One Day Licenses so you can get back into racing!! There's a great tradition in New Zealand of celebrating 21st birthdays - the coming of age party and if anyone knows how to throw a party Dunedin does

We're not sure if 'coming of age' is an appropriate motif for the Masters' Games - but it is a cause for celebration when Dunedin hosts the 21st anniversary of the NZ Masters Games in 2010 The Games fun runs all week and the actual Kart Competition is the weekend starting Sat 30 January. Watch the locals don't have you partying all the week prior so you are worn out by the weekend!

This is the hooly to end all hoolies - we suggest you start training now, for the party and the Games!
See you in 2010.

John Holmes Reports on the Dunedin Kart Club .ning site that Masters Games numbers look to be at record levels:

Entries are now 32 for the Games meeting.
In the past at this time we would have only about ten or so entries, so entries are a way ahead of other years.
Entries close 8th Jan 2010.
A good field of Rotax Max and open have entered so far, so these classes should be hotly contested.
Good to see two females have entered so far, it would be good to see some more.
If anyone is not decided yet to enter, I think you should as this meeting could turn out to be our largest Masters Games meeting yet.
